FOVM started last spring to work on a much needed update to our Bylaws. The new Bylaws were presented at the September general meeting. Major changes include: two at-large Board members to be added to help on a more regular basis; two student representatives from Express are invited to attend meetings and report back to students; new board will take over on June 1 versus July 1; all board members must pass a background check; President and Treasurer of FOVM can not hold office on another booster or PTA group in the district; members must attend 3 general meetings in a school year to be eligible to run for a board position.
